Commentary for II Chronicles 23:16

וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת יְהוֹיָדָע֙ בְּרִ֔ית בֵּינ֕וֹ וּבֵ֥ין כָּל־הָעָ֖ם וּבֵ֣ין הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ לִהְי֥וֹת לְעָ֖ם לַיהוָֽה׃

And Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, and all the people, and the king, that they should be the LORD’S people.

between himself and all the people and the king that all of them, the king and the people, should follow the Lord.
